Step by step

The pieces go in this order: the two large triangles, the medium triangle, the parallelogram, the square, then the two small triangles. In each picture the new piece has a thick outline, the pieces already placed are paler and the grey area is still empty.

  1. 1/7: Large triangle 1

It goes at the bottom of the figure. Its right-angle corner points down and to the right.

  2. 2/7: Large triangle 2

It goes at the top of the figure. Its right-angle corner points up and to the left. Next to: Large triangle 1.

  3. 3/7: Medium triangle

It goes in the middle of the figure. Its right-angle corner points to the left.

  4. 4/7: Parallelogram

It goes in the middle of the figure. It is not turned over: the same side faces up as in the starting square below. Next to: Large triangle 1, Large triangle 2, and Medium triangle.

  5. 5/7: Square

It goes in the lower right of the figure. It sits straight, with its sides horizontal and vertical. Next to: Medium triangle.

  6. 6/7: Small triangle 1

It goes in the lower left of the figure. Its right-angle corner points up and to the left. Next to: Large triangle 1.

  7. 7/7: Small triangle 2

It goes at the bottom of the figure. Its right-angle corner points down and to the left. Next to: Large triangle 1 and Medium triangle.
