Send a question, a request for a new tool or feature, or a bug report to the person who runs this site. No sign-in needed; leave an email if you want a reply
Loading the tool…
A page for sending the person who runs Mellow Tools a question about a tool, a request for a tool or feature you wish existed, or a report of something that works wrongly. No sign-in and no name are needed; you only add an email if you want a reply. Every message is read by the owner and used to fix tools or build new ones.
How to use
- Choose the type: 'Question' for how a tool works or what a result means, 'Request' for a new tool or feature, 'Bug report' for a wrong result or a page that does not open.
- Pick the related tool. If you came here from the 'Feedback & requests' link under a tool, it is already selected. For something about the whole site, leave 'Not about one tool'.
- Write your message. What you were trying to do, what happened, which values you entered and, for a bug, which device and browser you used make fixing it much faster. An unfinished message stays in this browser.
- Add an email if you want a reply, then press 'Send'. A reference number means it arrived.
How it works
- Only your text, the chosen tool and the browser type are sent. No location or account information.
- Several messages in a short time are blocked for a while; try again after a few minutes.
- The email is used only to reply, never for anything else, and is not shown anywhere.
Questions and answers
- When will I get an answer?
- The owner reads and answers in person, so not instantly. Messages with an email get a reply once they have been looked at; a fixed bug shows up directly in the tool.
- Will a requested tool be built?
- Requests that many people need or that no existing tool covers are looked at first. Explaining the situation and why you need it helps the decision.
- What should a bug report contain?
- Which tool, which values you entered, what came out and what you expected. On a phone, add the model and the browser name.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Anyone can send a message. Only the owner signs in, to read what arrived.
