To-Do List

A checklist for writing down tasks and ticking them off. You can keep several lists and give tasks a due date, an important mark and a repeat rule. Your tasks are saved only in this browser on this device.

How to use

1. Type a task into "Add a task and press Enter" and press Enter to add it to the list.
2. Click a task to set its "Due date", "Repeat", "List" and "Note". Use the star button to mark it as important.
3. The "Today" tab collects tasks due today or earlier from all lists. Use the + button next to the tabs to create a new list.
4. Under "Order", choose "My order", "Due date" or "Important first". In "My order", drag the handle or use the up and down arrow keys to move a task.
5. Open "Print, export and import" to print the list or press "Save a backup (JSON)".

How it works

• When you tick off a repeating task, the next one is added automatically. A monthly task keeps its day: after January 31 comes the last day of February, then March 31.
• Tasks are stored in this browser's IndexedDB and are not sent to a server. Clearing your browser data deletes them, so save a backup now and then.
• After you delete a task or clear completed tasks, an "Undo" button appears for 10 seconds.

Questions and answers

Does the to-do list sync between my phone and computer?

No. Open tabs in the same browser stay in step, but to move your tasks to another device, save a backup file and import it there.

Can I import a to-do list from another app?

Yes, as a text file: each line becomes a task. Check marks written as "- [x] task" and a date at the end of a line such as "(2026-10-15)" are also read.

How are overdue tasks shown?

The date is marked "Overdue", and the task also appears on the "Today" tab. If you finish a repeating task late, the next one is given a date after today.
