Palm Reading Guide

Take a photo of your hand, pick the shapes that match your lines, and read what palmistry says

Loading the tool…

A guided palm reading: compare your palm with example drawings, pick the shapes that look like your lines, and read what palmistry tradition says about them. It does not detect your lines automatically.

How to use

  1. On "Hand", choose the "Hand to read" and "Your dominant hand".
  2. On "Photo", use "Take a photo" or "Open a photo" and line your palm up with the guide. You can also choose "Continue without a photo".
  3. On "Lines", pick the length, depth, shape and any breaks, forks or islands of the life, head, heart and fate lines. The sun line and marriage lines are optional.
  4. On "Hand shape", choose the palm shape and finger length, press "Show the reading", and use "Save as image" to keep the summary card.

How it works

Questions and answers

Which hand do you read in palmistry, left or right?
A common view is that the non-dominant hand shows what you were born with and the dominant hand shows what you have made of it. You can read either hand.
Does a short life line mean a short life?
No. Even in palmistry tradition the life line does not show lifespan. This tool reads it as energy and lifestyle.
Where are the four main lines on the palm?
The heart line is the top line, starting below the little finger. The head line crosses the middle of the palm, the life line curves around the base of the thumb, and the fate line rises from the wrist toward the middle finger.
Is it bad to have no fate line?
Many people have no fate line or only a faint one. Choose "None or not visible" to get the reading for that shape.
