Tarot Card Reading
Draw cards for your question and read their upright and reversed meanings
Loading the tool…
Think of a question, pick your own cards from the full 78-card tarot deck, and read the upright or reversed meaning for each position. Spreads include card of the day, yes or no, three cards, a 5-card love spread and the 10-card Celtic Cross.
How to use
- Choose the "Spread", the "Reading type" and the "Topic" (General, Love, Work or Money), and type a "Question (optional)" if you like.
- Press "Shuffle the cards" and pick the number of cards you need from the face-down cards.
- Tap each card to turn it over, or press "Turn all over", then read the meaning for each position and the "Overall picture".
- Use "Save as image" to keep the result or "Draw again" for a new reading. The "Card meanings" tab lists all 78 cards.
How it works
- The deck has 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana in four suits: Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles. Shuffling and card direction use the browser's cryptographic random numbers.
- All card pictures and meanings were made for this site. Your question is not saved anywhere; it appears only in a result image if you save one.
- This tarot reading is for fun. The cards do not decide your future; make important decisions yourself.
Questions and answers
- What does a reversed tarot card mean?
- A reversed card is one that comes up upside down, and each card has its own reversed meaning. To read upright cards only, switch off "Include reversed cards".
- How does the yes or no tarot reading decide?
- It reads the leaning of the card: bright upright cards give "Leaning yes", heavy cards "Leaning no", and cards in between "Not decided yet".
- Is the Death card bad?
- No. In this tool the Death card means endings and renewal, and it is read as a card about change, not loss of life.
- How many cards are in a tarot deck?
- 78. There are 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana, with 14 cards in each suit: Ace to 10, Page, Knight, Queen and King.
