Fancy Text Generator
Turn letters into 𝓯𝓪𝓷𝓬𝔂, 𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱 and other Unicode styles you can paste anywhere
Loading the tool…
Converts letters and digits into styled characters such as 𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱, 𝓯𝓪𝓷𝓬𝔂 and Ⓒⓘⓡⓒⓛⓔⓓ, and shows all 23 styles at once. Use it to paste decorated text where you cannot choose a font, such as an Instagram bio or a user name.
How to use
- Type letters or digits into "Text to convert".
- Compare the styles in the list below, such as "Bold", "Script", "Circled" and "Upside down".
- Press "Copy" on the line you like and paste it where you need it.
How it works
- The styled letters are not a font. They are separate Unicode characters, mostly mathematical letters and enclosed letters, which is why they keep their look where fonts cannot be changed.
- Only the basic Latin letters A–Z and digits change. Letters without a styled counterpart, such as accented or Korean letters, stay as they are, and some styles have no digits.
- Strikethrough and underline add a combining line character after each letter.
Questions and answers
- Can I use fancy fonts in my Instagram bio?
- Yes. The copied characters paste like ordinary text. If the viewer's device has no font for a character, it shows as an empty box.
- Why do accented letters not change?
- Unicode has styled versions only of the basic letters A–Z and the digits 0–9, so letters such as é or ñ are left as they are.
- Are there downsides to using fancy text?
- Screen readers may read it wrongly or not at all, search engines do not match it, and some devices show empty boxes. Use plain letters for names, important information and hashtags.
