How it works

- Point at or focus a character to see its Unicode code point (U+2192) and HTML entity (→, →), which you can use in web pages.
- The collection and recently used characters are saved in this browser. Emoji look different on each device and app.
Questions and answers
- How do I type the degree symbol?
- Open "Units and superscripts" and click °. The same category has ℃, ℉ and superscripts such as ² and ³.
- How do I copy a heart symbol?
- Open "Shapes, stars and hearts" or search for "heart", then click the heart you want, such as ♥, ♡ or ❤. It is copied at once.
- How do I write an arrow in HTML?
- Paste the character itself or use an entity: → can be written as → or →. Point at any character to see its codes.
- Why does a copied symbol show as a box?
- The font on the viewing device does not include that character. The same can happen on the recipient's device, so use common symbols for important text.
