Gantt Chart Maker
Type tasks and dates to draw a Gantt chart and save it as an image or PDF

Draws a Gantt chart from a table of tasks with start and end dates or durations, and saves it as PNG or SVG or prints it. Use it to show a project schedule on one page without a spreadsheet program.
How to use
- In the "Tasks" table, enter the "Task", "Start" and "End" or "Days"; press "Add task" for more rows, or "Load example" to start from a sample.
- To use a spreadsheet schedule, paste it under "Paste from a spreadsheet · CSV".
- Fill in "Progress (%)", "Owner", "Group", "Milestone" and "Predecessors" (row numbers) as needed.
- Choose the "Scale" and how to "Count days as", and list holidays under "Days off", one per line.
- Export with "Save PNG", "Save SVG" or "Print", or press "Save project file" to edit it later.
How it works
- Durations count both the start and end date. "Working days" leave out Saturdays, Sundays and your days off; "Calendar days" count every day.
- No public holidays are built in; add them under "Days off".
- A task that starts before its predecessor ends gets a red dashed arrow. Up to 400 tasks can be added.
- Your work is saved automatically in this browser only. To move it to another device, save a project file (.json) or a CSV.
Questions and answers
- How do I read a Gantt chart?
- Dates run along the horizontal axis, and each task is a bar from its start to its end. The darker part of a bar shows progress, and a milestone is a diamond on one date.
- Can I import a schedule from Excel?
- Yes, copy the cells and paste them. A header row is matched by column names, and an empty end date is calculated from the days. Write dates as 2026-10-05.
- If a task lasts 5 days, when does it end?
- Starting on a Thursday, it ends the next Wednesday in working days and the next Monday in calendar days.
- Can I drag bars to change dates?
- Yes, with "Drag bars to change dates" on: drag the middle of a bar to move it, or its right end to change the length.
