Correction requests
Every correction request sent from the language tools, in one list
Loading the tool…
Lists every "Looks wrong" correction request that visitors have sent about the sentences, dialogues, words and translations in the language tools. The list is public, and a new request can also be written here.
How to use
- The newest requests come first. Filter by "Language" and "Tool", or turn on "Only mine" to keep the requests sent from this device.
- Each request shows the original text, the suggested text, a note and the item id. The status shows whether it has been applied.
- Open "Write a new request", fill in the tool, the language of the text, the original, a corrected version and a note, then press "Send".
- Requests kept on this device because the server could not be reached appear at the top; press "Send now" to send them.
How it works
- Requests are stored on the mellowspots server. No name or contact details are collected; only a random device id is stored to tell requests apart.
- The "Looks wrong" button in each tool fills in the text and language automatically.
- A request that could not be sent stays in this browser until it is sent.
Questions and answers
- When is a request applied?
- When the site owner has reviewed it and changed the text, the status changes to "Applied". There is no fixed schedule.
- How do I see only my own requests?
- Turn on "Only mine". Requests sent from the same browser on this device are shown.
- Can I delete a request?
- Sent requests cannot be removed from the public list. Only requests still waiting on this device can be deleted.
