Lottery & Powerball Number Generator

This lottery number generator picks quick pick style numbers for Powerball, Mega Millions, EuroMillions, Korea Lotto 6/45, Japan Loto 6 and Loto 7, or any n-from-m game you define. You can generate up to 10 lines at once, force lucky numbers into every line and leave out numbers you never want. The page also shows how many equally likely combinations the chosen game has, which is the denominator of the jackpot odds. It never claims to predict draws or improve your chances.

How to use

1. Choose a game under "Lottery". On the English page "Powerball (US)" is selected first.
2. For a game that is not listed, choose "Custom game" and set "Numbers to pick" and "Highest number (from 1)". If the game has a separately drawn ball, also fill in "Bonus numbers to pick" and "Highest bonus number (from 1)".
3. Set "Lines (1–10)" to the number of lines you want. The default is 5.
4. To fix lucky numbers, type them in "Numbers to include"; to avoid numbers, type them in "Numbers to leave out". Separate them with commas or spaces, such as 7, 13, 27. The line under the form shows the rule and the number of possible combinations.
5. Press "Pick numbers". Lines A, B, C and so on appear with the numbers in ascending order. "Copy" copies every line as text for a note or a message.
6. Open earlier results under "History" and copy any of them again. "Clear history" deletes the list.

How it works

• The rules of each game were checked on the operator's official site on 9 October 2026. Lottery rules change, so confirm the current rules with the official site before you buy.
• Numbers within one line never repeat. Balls the player chooses from a separate pool, such as the red Powerball or the two EuroMillions Lucky Stars, are picked from their own range. Bonus numbers that only the draw produces, as in Korea Lotto 6/45, are not generated.
• Korea Lotto 6/45 balls are coloured by range: 1–10 yellow, 11–20 blue, 21–30 red, 31–40 grey, 41–45 green.
• A custom game can use numbers up to 99, pick up to 20 of them, and add up to 5 bonus numbers from a pool of up to 99. Values that are not whole numbers or fall outside the range show a warning and disable "Pick numbers".
• Numbers come from the browser's cryptographic random number generator and are never sent to a server. The last 20 results are saved only in this browser on this device.

Do lucky numbers or excluded numbers change your lottery odds

No. A draw selects balls at random, so every valid combination is exactly as likely as any other. In Powerball that is 1 in 292,201,338 per line whether the numbers came from a quick pick, a birthday or a generator with fixed numbers. Including or excluding numbers only changes which combination you hold, not the chance that any single combination wins.

Here is a worked example with Korea Lotto 6/45. If you fix 2 numbers, the other 4 come from the remaining 43, so 123,410 different lines contain both. The chance that the draw contains both of your fixed numbers is 1 in 66, yet you still need the other four, so each line stays at 1 in 8,145,060. Leaving out 10 numbers shrinks your own choices to 1,623,160 combinations, while the machine still draws from all 45 balls.

Powerball, Mega Millions and EuroMillions odds explained

Powerball asks for 5 white balls from 1 to 69 and 1 red ball from 1 to 26. There are 11,238,513 ways to choose the white balls, and multiplying by 26 gives 292,201,338 combinations. Mega Millions uses 5 from 1 to 70 plus a Mega Ball from 1 to 24, which gives 290,472,336. EuroMillions uses 5 from 1 to 50 plus 2 Lucky Stars from 1 to 12, which gives 2,118,760 times 66, or 139,838,160.

These figures follow directly from the rules, but the rules themselves are set by the operators and have changed before; Mega Millions, for example, has altered its ball ranges more than once. Prize tiers and amounts also vary by game and jurisdiction, so check the official site for those instead of relying on any fixed number here.

How to generate numbers for a 6/49 or other custom lottery

Choose "Custom game", set "Numbers to pick" to 6 and "Highest number (from 1)" to 49. The page reports 13,983,816 possible combinations, the classic 6/49 figure, calculated as 49 times 48 times 47 times 46 times 45 times 44 divided by 720. Keep "Bonus numbers to pick" at 0 unless the player chooses an extra ball from a separate pool.

Japan Loto 6 (6 from 1 to 43, 6,096,454 combinations) and Loto 7 (7 from 1 to 37, 10,295,472 combinations) are built in. The same custom settings also work for office raffles or a classroom draw where you need, say, 3 different numbers from 1 to 30.

Questions and answers

Does a lottery number generator improve my chances of winning?

No. Every combination has exactly the same chance, and this tool only picks numbers at random. Including or leaving out numbers does not change the odds either.

What are the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot?

With the rule the page uses, 5 numbers from 1 to 69 plus 1 from 1 to 26, one line has a 1 in 292,201,338 chance. The page shows the number of combinations for whichever game you choose.

Can I pick some numbers myself and let the generator fill in the rest?

Yes. Type your numbers in "Numbers to include" and press "Pick numbers"; every line keeps them and only the remaining spots are random.

How many numbers can I include?

Up to the number the game picks, for example 5 for the Powerball white balls. Including all of them makes every line identical, so most people fix one to four.

Is a quick pick better than choosing your own numbers?

Neither is better. The draw is random, so a quick pick, a self-picked line and a generated line all have the same odds.

Can the same number appear on more than one line?

Yes. Each line is picked separately, so a number can appear on several lines. Within one line the same number never appears twice.

Does it generate the Powerball and the EuroMillions Lucky Stars?

Yes. The red Powerball, the Mega Ball and the two Lucky Stars are picked from their own pools and shown after a plus sign.

Are my generated numbers saved?

The last 20 results are saved only in this browser on this device and are never uploaded. The example result shown when the page first opens is not added to the history.

Can I buy a lottery ticket on this site?

No. This site does not sell tickets; copy the numbers and enter them on a play slip or with an official retailer.
