Chore Chart & Routine Chart Maker
Build a printable chore chart or daily routine for kids, or tick it off on screen
Loading the tool…
Builds a chore chart or a daily routine chart for children that you can print on A4 or Letter paper or tick off on screen. A round 24-hour plan for school holidays is made in the same place.
How to use
- Under "Chart type", choose "Weekly chores", "Daily routine" or "24-hour plan", and write a title.
- Add jobs with "Add job" and pick a picture for each. A daily routine also gets a part of the day and a time; a 24-hour plan uses "Add block" with a start and end time.
- On a weekly chart, add "Family members" to choose "Who" does each job, and turn on "Points or allowance column" if you want it.
- Tap boxes in the "Preview" to tick them, or choose "Paper" and "Orientation" and press "Print".
How it works
- Charts and ticks are saved only in this browser on this device. You can keep several under "Saved charts" and add more with "New chart" or "Duplicate".
- With "Clear the ticks when a new period starts" on, a weekly chart is cleared every week and a daily routine every day. A printed chart is always blank.
- The 24-hour plan shows how many hours are planned and warns when blocks overlap. "Total this week" is each job's points multiplied by the number of ticked days, added together.
Questions and answers
- Can a child who cannot read use the chart?
- Turn on "Picture view" to show big pictures and small words. There are 24 pictures to choose from, such as a toothbrush, a shirt and a book.
- How do I make a circular daily schedule?
- Choose "24-hour plan" and add blocks such as sleep and study with their start and end times; the circle is colored by block. Press "Load example" to see a filled-in plan first.
- Are the ticks I make on screen saved?
- Yes. Ticks are stored in this browser and are still there when you come back. They are not shared with other devices.
- Can I make a separate chart for each child?
- Use "New chart" to make one chart per child, or add "Family members" to one weekly chart so that each person has a color.
