How to use
- On the "Shoes" tab, enter the "Foot length" in mm, cm or inch. Measure both feet and use the longer one.
- To leave room to grow, choose +5 mm or +10 mm under "Growing room".
- Read the size for each country; the US size also shows Toddler, Little Kid or Big Kid.
- On the "Clothing" tab, enter the "Height" to see clothing sizes and the "Height range chart".
How it works
- Korean (mm) and Japanese (cm) shoe sizes are the foot length rounded up to 5 mm. US, UK and EU are the first size in Nike's kids' shoe chart that fits, up to 7Y.
- Clothing follows the Uniqlo Korea, Carter's (US) and Next (UK) size charts; the EU size is the height in cm or the next size up. The UK chart covers 2 to 16 years only.
- Sizes vary by brand and product, so the results are for reference. Check the brand's own size chart before you buy.
Questions and answers
- How do I measure my child's foot?
- Have the child stand on paper with the heel against a wall, mark the tip of the longest toe and measure from the wall to the mark. Feet swell a little during the day, so measure in the afternoon or evening.
- What shoe size is a 150 mm foot?
- The Korean size is 150. With +10 mm of growing room the sizes are found for 160 mm, and the US, UK and EU sizes appear as well.
- Should I choose clothes by age or by height?
- Height is a better guide, because children of the same age differ in height. On a boundary, the larger size is the usual choice.
- What do C and Y mean in US kids' shoe sizes?
- C sizes (1C to 13.5C) are for younger children, and Y sizes (1Y to 7Y) are for older children. 1Y comes after 13.5C.
