Paste a list and print it onto standard label sheets, aligned in millimetres

Loading the tool…

Prints a pasted address or item list onto A4 or Letter label sheets, one entry per label, placed in millimetres. Use it to print mailing labels from a spreadsheet or labels for drawers and boxes.

How to use

  1. Choose the "Input" and paste into "List". For a spreadsheet, choose "Table (Excel, CSV)" and write column names such as {Name} in the "Label template".
  2. Under "Sheet layout", pick the layout that matches the label count and size on the packet, or choose "Custom" and enter the measurements in mm.
  3. Set the text under "Text and placement". On a partly used sheet, set "Start at label".
  4. Print the outlines on plain paper with "Test print", hold it against the label sheet and enter any offset under "Print adjustment".
  5. Press "Print" and choose actual size (100%) and no margins in the print dialog.

Questions and answers

How do I print address labels from Excel?
Copy the table with its header row and paste it with "Table (Excel, CSV)" selected. Put {Name}, {Street} and {City} {ZIP} on separate template lines; each row becomes one label.
Why do my labels not line up?
Check that the print dialog uses 100% scale. If everything is off by the same amount, use "Shift across" and "Shift down"; if the error grows towards one edge, change "Scale" slightly.
Can I use a partly used label sheet?
Yes. The top left label is 1; enter the first empty label under "Start at label".
Which layout has 30 labels per Letter sheet?
"Letter 3×10 · 2.625×1 in". For other sizes, enter them under "Custom" and keep them with "Save this sheet".
