Sign PDF
Draw or upload a signature or seal and place it anywhere on a PDF
Loading the tool…
Places a drawn or typed signature or a seal image anywhere on a PDF, adds text such as a date or name, and saves the result. Use it to sign a contract or form and send it back without printing.
How to use
- Drop the PDF to sign onto the page or click to choose it. A sample document is open to start with.
- Under "Make a signature", create one with "Draw", "Type" or "Upload image", then press "Use this signature".
- Drag the signature into place and resize it with the corner handle. Add "Today's date" or "Name" under "Add text" if needed.
- If the same signature is needed on every page, press "Put on every page". When you are done, press "Save signed PDF".
How it works
- This tool only places a visible signature picture on the document. It is not a certified or cryptographic electronic signature: it does not prove who signed and does not protect the file against changes.
- For a photo of a seal or a paper signature, turn on "Make a white background transparent" so only the ink remains.
- Everything is processed on this device. Signatures stay in the browser only when "Keep my signatures on this device" is on; turn it off on a shared computer.
Questions and answers
- How do I add my signature to a PDF?
- Open the PDF, sign with your finger or mouse under "Draw" and press "Use this signature". Drag it onto the signature line and press "Save signed PDF".
- Can I add a stamp or seal to a PDF?
- Yes. Add the seal picture with "Upload image". A photo of a seal stamped on white paper, or a PNG with a transparent background, works well.
- Is a signature added this way legally valid?
- The tool only adds a picture; it does not verify the signer or protect the file. Ask the receiver which kinds of signature they accept.
- Can I put the same signature on every page?
- Yes. Place the signature on one page, select it and press "Put on every page"; it is added at the same spot on the other pages.
