Scoreboard
Keep team scores on a big screen and add or take away points
Loading the tool…
Shows team scores in large numbers on the screen and lets you add or take away points with buttons or the keyboard. Use it to keep score for a class quiz, a sports game or group work where everyone can see it.
How to use
- Choose 2 to 8 under "Number of teams" and change the names and colors under "Team names and colours".
- Press +1 or −1 for a team, or use the values in "Extra buttons" (5 and 10 by default) to change the score in larger steps.
- Tap a score to type a new number, and press "Undo" after a mistake.
- Press "Full screen" to show the board on the classroom screen. Turn on "Show a timer" or "Keep track of sets" if you need them.
How it works
- The team with the highest score is marked "1st". No team is marked when all scores are equal.
- "End set" gives the set to the team that leads alone, sets every score back to 0 and starts the next set.
- Scores and history are saved in this browser on this device and are still there when you open the page again.
Questions and answers
- Can I keep score with the keyboard?
- Press 1 to 8 to choose a team, then ↑ or ↓ to add or take away 1. With Shift held, the score changes by the first extra value. U undoes and F switches to full screen.
- Can I change the extra point buttons?
- Type the values in "Extra buttons" separated by commas, for example 3, 10. Up to 4 whole numbers from 2 to 1000 are used.
- Can I see who scored and when?
- Open "History" to see the time, the team and each change. "Copy history" copies it for a spreadsheet.
- How does the timer work?
- Turn on "Show a timer", set the minutes, then press "Start" or Space. An alarm sounds when the time is up.
